30th of March in 1896
Ground was broken and the construction of the
Palais started 20th November 1898 The Palais was inaugurated by the President
of the traders club 1898 The first tenant, the male club named "Schlaraffia"
moved into the palais 1939 - 1945 War damages were removed and everything was
reconstructed 1949 The first postwar-ball took place 1951 - 1953 The Palais was handed over by the
US-occupying power to the traders club as its rightful owner 2006 KKÖ 80 years jubilee show
